This is one of my favorite artist right now, her name is Keri Hilson and she's a singer/songwriter. I went to her concert back in August and she was totally HOT and on FIRE! She wrote for artist such as Mary J. Blige, P. Diddy, etc. She has 3 singles out right now "energy" (which is a nice melody) it's r&b/pop, "return the favor" (feat timberland) which is a pop/techno song, and her latest song "turnin me on"(feat lil wayne) which is totally hip hop/ r&b... i hear it in the clubs and on the radio every 15 minutes i love the song! She has also been featured with artist such as Usher, Nas, and Chris Brown just to name a few. Miss. Hilson is doing the damn thing and make sure you check out her album in feb! This is one hot lady that is ready to show her stuff in 09!! Trust Me! :)

ReplyDeleteI just read your blog. I know you follow Prince Prints Report. I just found it today. Great stuff! Got some advice for you...don't make the same mistake I did. I hated the fake people in L.A. when I lived there. But if I'd have stayed, my career would have soared beyond my imagination. Your true friends will be there for you no matter where you are. I have friends from all over the world let alone the U.S.- You better grab your slice of the pie before dessert time is over! Do you really think that a bit of geography would stop Keri from taking care of biz? No, no , no my little sister. You are young and the time is now to follow your dreams, they don't always come to you ya know. I have a wealth of stories to tell that would get that point across! If more opportunity is in L.A. for you then move there. S.F. isn't that far away, besides, L.A. is for keeping your nose to the grindestone, S.F. is for your friends and leisure. And one other thing, love don't pay the bills! Feel me! Time for that later...for now, love yourself. You will be better off for it in the long run 'cause I know you've got some hefty bills after college. Hit me back if you want to. I love to see young black women succeed. I have a son in college, so I'm kina sentimental on this subject. LOL Perlouez
