Just wanted to add some pics and acknowledge the people that have made numerous changes and fought for African Americans, so we could have a better life. This is dedicated to the past, present and future African Americans that succeeded in life and to those who will succeed! Make things happen people of the future...we can't afford to let our ancestors down. We have no excuse to why we can't make it...OUR PRESIDENT IS BLACK AND CHANGE WILL COME!!!!! ReplyDeleteHaving been a Black Panther follower in my youth, I do appreciate the photo which is rarely seen. Let us not forget that "Black Power" is still alive today. Even though I no longer sport a huge afro and throw my clenched fist in the air as I did when I was a teenager, I still subscribe to the mantra. This does not mean that I am doing the reverse racism dance, rather I am expressing a pride in myself, my people and our struggles and for all people on the earth, Black, White and every shade in between. As Frankie Beverly so beautifully expressed it in the 70's, "We Are One". LOL Perlouez
