This may be one of the last black television shows on tv.....If you don't know what i'm talking about then youtube it! 'The Game' featuring Tia Mowry-Hardrict, Pooch Hall, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Brittany Daniel, Coby Bell, and Hosea Chanchez has been the hit for almost 3 yrs now. The show first aired back in 2006 and picked up high ratings for the CW among the African American viewers. The show is about Tia who plays (Melanie) & Pooch who plays (Derwin). The two are fresh out of college and moves to San Diego, due to Melanie's Bf Derwin being drafted to the San Diego Sabers football team. The story is surrounded by two of Derwin's fellow play mates Coby & Hosea with their wife Brittany and mother Wendy. The show is real and gives real feelings and meanings behind the story. This show should truly be watched by any race. The only bad thing about the show would be CW, the show was pushed from Sundays to Fridays at 8:30pm. This time they have picked , people are usually out and to tell you the truth i've missed a few episodes , because friday is such an odd night to have a good tv show on, because people are out of the house.The ratings will eventually go down and the show will be cancelled, but LETS CROSS OUR FINGERS AND HOPE THEY KEEP THE SHOW!!!. I'm really hoping people will continue to watch the show and support ONE of the only black shows still on tv.
You can catch 'The Game' on the Cw 8:30PM EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT!
